Harry Claytor  -  Testimony - Covenant of Praise

The decision to share my music and past was not easy, for it is one that I am not proud of, and I had alcohol and drug addition that I couldn't get free from. I had to hit bottom before I found my answers and freedom from the demons that controlled me. It doesn’t matter what you have done or what you are into today, God loves you, and if you confess your sins and ask for his help, he can turn your life around. He did mine and he is no respecter of persons.  Please feel free to contact or email me whether you buy a CD or not.

I lived a fast and dangerous life, traveling around the world and across the United States and Mexico. My family and friends may have thought I was doing fine, but l was good at hiding my hurts and feelings. There were many times all I could think of was suicide, just wanting to end it all. I drove fast and lived on the edge and taking chances I shouldn't have, and during this time, I had a gun misfire at point blank range & was almost killed in a bar room fight after being cut up and stabbed twice.

Covenant of Praise

By Harry Claytor
These songs are written with a message and are also my covenant to God, which is the title of the CD.
But, my decision to publish and share them are to encourage and give hope to you. Even for you that are living a  good Christian life, you probably know someone in your family that drugs and alcohol have affected.
A while back I felt the urge to give a CD to a co-worker I just met. He called the next day and said my CD  brought tears to his eyes and encouraged him.  He had a alcohol and drug problem, lost his family and was living in his old truck just prior to that job. He is doing OK today and still calls me from time to time. Just recently I sang at a church I never been to before, and at alter call there were several that came up for prayer. As we were leaving, one of the guys that went up for prayer came up to me and thanked me for my song. He was in drug court and had a problem with drugs and alcohol and said my song witnessed to him.
